Flowers and romance are inseparable. Ever since the ancient Egyptians used flowers as symbols of love, flowers have throughout the years come to symbolize romance, passion and desire.
Whilst not all flowers convey the meaning of romance, a great number do. The flowers most commonly associated with romance are roses, (most commonly red, white and pink roses). Other flowers are also considered to be romantic flowers such as daisies and tulips, lilies and carnations, gardenias and orchids, lilacs as well as some Australian native flowers.
The most romantic flower, however, will always be the one that carries special significance to the one you love. Perhaps it's the flower you gave on your first date, it could be the flowersd used in the bride's wedding bouquet, it could be a special variety or colour that your special loved one often comments on, or a certain special flower that makes her stare in wonder whenever she sees it.
These are the true romantic flowers because you the giver took the time to pay attention, thus transforming an ordinary flower into a symbol of love and passion.
